Naomi Jean Pryce, passed away peacefully, at Huronview Home for The Aged, on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the age of 92. In her time among us Naomi may have been small in stature, but the love she offered her family was large and generous. With gratitude, we remember Naomi’s kind heart, her caring ways and her warm and loving smile. Naomi loved watching the birds from the front porch of her Winthrop home, or in later years at Huronview. She will be lovingly missed by all.
Naomi will lovingly remembered by her children Yvonne & Harvey Hoggart, Murray & Audrey Pryce, Brenda & Dave Linton, Brian & Sharon Pryce, Elizabeth Jenkin, Wayne & Julie Pryce, Blaine Pryce & Kathy McKellar and Lorrie & Keith Cataford. Fond memories of a much loved grandma remain with Naomi’s 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Left to reminisce days gone by are siblings and siblings-in-law Edna Jenkins, Fred & Hilda Martin, and many nieces and nephews.
In faith, we trust that Naomi’s spirit is reunited in eternal life with her husband Harold Pryce (2012), daughter-in-law Joanne Pryce, son-in-law Gord Jenkin, great-granddaughter Rebecca Kipfer Pryce, her parents Clarence & Margaret (née Mooney) Martin, and siblings-in-law Floyd Jenkins, Elva & Harold Bolger, Olive & Earl Papple, and Oliver & Thelma Pryce.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at McGlynn Family Funeral Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth, on Wednesday, August 14 from 6-9 p.m. A private family funeral service to seek comfort in ways of faith and honour Naomi’s life will be held. Interment will take place in Maitlandbank Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Tanner Steffler Foundation, Ronald McDonald House or St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation (Parkwood Institute Spinal Cord Research) would be appreciated by the family.
