Surrounded by the love of her family, Gladys Isabelle McGregor (née Baker) passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Clinton Public Hospital. In her 79 years among us, Gladys was a source of love, caring and kindness within the circle of her family and friends. Gladys always approached the ups and downs of life with a smile on her face. For Gladys, a day spent on the golf course was a good day… but a day spent visiting with family and friends was even better.
Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Grant (2012), Gladys will be lovingly remembered by their children Christine McGregor of London, Rob and Elizabeth McGregor of RR#3 Kippen, Dave McGregor of Clinton, and Gerry McGregor of Kippen. Memories of a fun and spunky grandma will always be cherished by grandchildren Jake and Jenny, Luke and Courtney, Nic and Nyssa, Ashley and Matt, Dan and Erin, Amanda, Grant and great grandchildren Henry, Duncan, Clem and Maureen. Fond remembrances also remain with siblings and siblings-in-law Bill (Marg) Baker, Irene Tyndall, Betty Grenier, Wanda Wilson, Bill Brown, Greta Baker, Betty Egoetz, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Also loved and missed by Bonnie Groot.
Along with her husband Grant, in faith, we trust that Gladys’ spirit is reunited in eternal life with her parents Robert and Clara Baker, siblings and siblings-in-law Clara Brown, Murray Baker, John (Janice) Baker, Robert (Lillan)Baker, Meade (Dorothy) Baker, Bruce (Bridget) Baker, Austin Baker, Glenn (Arnetta) Baker, Bruce Tyndall, Alphonse Grenier, Adam Wilson, Jim McGregor, and son-in-law Ken Bruxer.
