Pearl  Henderson
Peacefully at Huronview Home for the Aged in Clinton, on Monday, October 8, 2018. Born in Logan Township, Pearl Madelena Amelia (née Vock) Henderson of Seaforth, was in her 92nd year.

Beloved wife of the late John E. Henderson (June ’98). Loving mother of Bill and Sibyl Henderson of Varna, Jim and Marie Henderson of Southampton, Diane and Bill Greb of Port Elgin, Bob and Betty Henderson of Varna, Don and Sue Henderson of Southampton, Donna and Mike Feeney of Mitchell, Darlene and Jerome Cronin of Seaforth, and Debbie and Doug Steinman of Kippen. Cherished Grandma of 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Erma McLean of St. Marys, Shirley Aver of Stratford, and sister-in-law of Betty Cowell of Mitchell and Joyce Henderson of Egmondville. Pearl will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Evelyn Henderson, brother Carl Vock, and her siblings-in-law Bruce McLean, Pete Aver, Lois and Gord Churchward, Art and Doe Henderson, and Bill Henderson.

Pearl will be remembered for her devotion to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her love for music and her talent for quilting.

Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, on Friday, October 12th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Pearl’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen, on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 2 p.m. Please note, the road between Bornholm and Brodhagen is out for bridge repair, and the only way to access the church is from the west end of the village. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the Brodhagen Community Centre are still accessible beyond the road closed/local traffic only signs. Interment will take place in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery followed by a reception at the Brodhagen Community Centre.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen, or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. Online condolences can be forwarded by visiting Pearl’s memorial at
